Fontainhas is a beautiful heritage neighbourhood located in Panjim, Goa. It has houses built around the 19th century and is marked as a conservation area by the government.
The location houses the St. Sebastian chapel and guest houses mostly in heritage homes. Before this location was converted into a residential area, it was a coconut grove known as Palmar Ponte. It is called Fontainhas because of a fountain that exists at the far south-end of the neighbourhood.
